Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test
Per Cornell University policy,all EYH participants and visitors (including students, parents, teachers, and accompanying adults, regardless of age) will be required to provide one of the following:
- Proof of being fully vaccinated (more than 2 weeks since final dose) for COVID-19 with an FDA- or WHO-authorized vaccine;
- Results of a negative FDA- or DOH-authorized PCR, rapid PCR, or nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) COVID-19 test collected within 72 hours OR an FDA-authorized antigen test performed on a specimen collected within six hours of arriving on campus.
A photo, photocopy, or screenshot, or an electronic device is acceptable. Documentation will not be collected or stored in any way. You will be required to show this documentation upon arrival. Students or adults who do not provide the proper documentation will not be permitted to participate in any EYH activities and will be asked to leave campus.
Note for school groups: Group leaders are expected to confirm the adherence to testing/vaccination policies by ALL members of their group BEFORE departing for EYH. Lack of sufficient documentation for any member of the group will result in dismissal of the entire group from EYH. We are happy to help advise or facilitate this in any way we can – please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or concerns you may have.
In line with Cornell policies, approved face masks must be worn covering the nose and mouth at all times during EYH, except when briefly removed to eat or drink. Approved masks include masks with any of the following certifications: ASTM (procedure or surgical), KN95, FFP2, KF94 or NIOSH N95. Cloth masks are not approved unless worn in conjunction with an ASTM medical mask. We strongly encourage wearing the highest-grade mask available to you. EYH will provide surgical grade masks for all participants.
Physical distancing will be in place whenever possible during EYH, especially during breakfast and lunch times and during the keynote and adult panel talks. Many workshops will be hosted in large atrium spaces for increased air flow. Workshops which are held in classroom or lab spaces will follow current University guidelines for reduced capacity.
If you have any questions about these details, please contact EYH.
