Covid-19 Details
Offering a safe event for our attendees, volunteers, organizers, and surrounding community is of the utmost importance. We continue to closely monitor the progression and evolution of Covid-19 throughout our community and will update our policies in line with University, county, state, and government guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at eyh@cornell.edu.
Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test
Per Cornell University policy, all EYH participants and visitors (including students, parents, teachers, and accompanying adults, regardless of age) should stay home if they are ill, and are strongly encouraged to take an antigen test in advance of visiting campus or attending EYH.
The university does not check vaccination status for campus visitors; however, visitors are encouraged to have received a primary COVID-19 vaccine series and be up to date on eligible boosters
Masking
In line with Cornell policies, Face Masks are not required in most spaces on campus; however, they are highly encouraged.
It is well established that wearing a high-quality mask while indoors reduces the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19. The choice to wear a mask is a personal one, and no one should be made to feel uncomfortable because of their choice. Masks are required in health care facilities.
Physical Distancing
Physical distancing will be in place whenever possible during EYH, especially during breakfast and lunch times and during the keynote and adult panel talks. Many workshops will be hosted in large atrium spaces for increased air flow. Workshops which are held in classroom or lab spaces will follow current University guidelines for reduced capacity.
If you have any questions about these details, please contact EYH.
